The Noosa Festival Of Surfing is the most spectacular Stand Up Paddling event that you wouldn’t want to miss.
The Ocean Addicts stand up paddle “Super Sunday” will kick off the Cricks Noosa Festival of Surfing. The three-event stand-up division, expected to attract the best stand up paddle surfers in Australia, will be contested in its entirety on opening day, Sunday, March 9. Ocean Addicts Stand Up Paddle events are now open for competitor entry and the details below.
BOP style 5km SUP Race
This is your chance to race around a course in the most spectacular and iconic locations set out by the one of the most respected ocean athletes Peter Dories. The mellow conditions at Noosa are perfect for SUP racing and suitable for all abilities of paddlers. We encourage paddlers of all abilities to enter this race and join in on the action. All competitors will be racing together from the start line to make for an exciting battle on the water! Ocean Addicts is putting up some serious prize money up for grabs for the open divisions and there will be Trophies and prizes for the other competitors. Ever wanted to SUP Surf Noosa’s First Point all to yourself with a couple of mates? Well now is your chance!! The SUP Surf competition is open to all abilities of SUP surfing. The easy mellow conditions in Noosa are perfect for SUP surfing and we encourage all paddlers of all abilities to enter this competition. The Ocean Addicts SUP Surf Competition will have 2 divisions Open Men’s and Open Women’s Prizes and Trophies will be presented to the winning competitors in both divisions.
